When Jerry came home, he was like any puppy - he pooped & he pooped & he pooped.

Pretty quickly I was feeling guilty about all the plastic bags I was using to scoop up all that poop. So I bought a worm farm, some compost worms and started composting his regular gifts at home. It worked great & my birds of paradise were loving it too!

But it didn't solve the poop bag problem when I was out at the park or grabbing a coffee.

And so, Jerry Bags. Totally compostable pet poop bags. Created from corn & plant-based. Woohoo! You can #buryjerry!

You'll notice Jerry Bags started out as just one big Grab Bags box - I never used those plastic holders & the mini rolls ran out so quickly. I just wanted to grab a few bags and go! I like to think of Grab Bags as a tissue box full of colourful, compostable poop bags!

And here's a pro tip - you can use Jerry Bags for cat poop, your kitchen compost caddy, bagging the vacuum dust, picking up that slobbery tennis ball or when you just need a strong, leakproof bag!

Come 2022, we're now offering the mini rolls as well, because we've come around and we agree, they are super convenient!

Oh yeah, I was also tired of all the "stuff" - everything we send you is totally compostable or recyclable. From the bags to the box to the mailing satchels, labels, tape & stickers. Wherever we can, we're trying to reduce waste going into our oceans and landfill. 

So far, we've saved about 700,000 plastic bags from landfill. We're just getting started here at Jerry Bags. We want to do more and we thank you so much for your support. Please say hello.
